joggingAfter leaving some tips about the best places for jogging in Lisbon, I leave now, tips about the best places for jogging in Oporto.

City Park (Parque da Cidade)

It is the largest green space in Porto. Goes until the sea and has a number of pathways that are the delight of all those for whom exercise is a passion. Has infrastructure support facilities such as showers or water fountains. There are also several shades for a relaxing short break between two races.

Saint Roque Park (Parque de São Roque)

Located in the eastern zone, near the heart of the city, is the latest area of leisure and sport of Porto. It has several routes through dense trees and also provides infrastructure support to athletes.

Maritime Front of Gaia (Frente Marítima de Gaia)

This is certainly the longest sidewalk in the Northern Region. Starting in Afurada and ending in Espinho, have more than 15 kilometers always seaside. And beyond the asphalted sidewalk, has a wooden catwalk, just above the sand, with the same length. It is the most sought-after space in Porto area to practice jogging, not dispensing several signs along the route that indicate how many miles already traveled.

Brazil Avenue – Foz do Douro (Avenida do Brasil – Foz do Douro)

Right on the seafront, the sidewalk of Brazil Avenue, in Foz do Douro, provides one of the most beautiful landscapes of the city. A large space with pathways for jogging, cycling or just walk. Around, there are plenty of coffee bars for a freshwater or a moment’s pause to look at the sea.
