The energy comes from solar panels, has its own water purification station, the accommodation and furniture are all made from recycled wood and plastic, organic soap and shampoo are produced on site, the food is bought from local suppliers and the word recycling is everywhere. Welcome to Zmar, the first eco-camping resort in Portugal in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo, 13 km from the Zambujeira do Mar and where every inch of the 81 hectares of land was planned in accordance with environmental and ecological concerns, but without forgetting the luxury that ensures the five stars classification of the resort.
There are 33 bungalows, 48 accommodation in hotelmobile, three zvillas (name of the houses with two bedrooms), a park for 288 caravans and a camping area for pitches. All zvillas and bungalows are made from wood from certified forests and are furnished with all comfort. For those who like some privacy at the time of the bath, exist private bath for rent.
Activities
From a water park with outdoor pool and another covered with waves, a gym, a well-being center and a sport area with a covered multisports field, where you can enjoy basketball, volleyball or indoor football, etc. In Spa, exist exclusive treatments that are made with products of the Alentejo.
Children have special attention. Are available a playground of five acres and a pedagogic farm with various animals and an observatory.
