The Aquafalls Spa Hotel in S. Miguel’s Caniçada (Vieira do Minho – Gerês) is one of the best spas in the world. The Aquafalls opened a year ago and offers 22 rooms and suites, spread over 11 bungalows and the main building, plus restaurant (international cuisine, including healthy organic dishes), bar, auditorium and, of course, spa. Of 1200m2, there are treatments with ingredients of the region, treatment with products from Sisley Cosmetics (face and body), therapies of traditional Chinese medicine, various types of massage, high-tech rituals and various programs of exercises.
The area is perfect for exploring, hiking, or just taking in the peace and pure nature. Tennis, mini-golf, water and adventure sports are some of the activities offered.
